Research Activities & Accomplishment

Dr. Dong’s research activities involve to implement project, to publish article, to participate conference, to create technology, to develop industrial product and to train student in fields of biomaterial, medicine and biotechnology etc. In 2009, Dr. Dong has established some fundamental technologies in his laboratory for studying "bone tissue engineering", including synthetic scaffolds, bone marrow stem cells, bioreactors and other related assays, such as biochemical, cellular and therapeutic activities etc. For developing advance bone tissue engineering, Dr. Dong's strategies is to vascularize, structurate tissue engineering bones and to develop a novel bone-muscle "complex tissue engineering". In Dr. Dong's laboratory , there are some core technologies ready to use, involved protein kinetic interaction, high throughput screening functional TCMs, protein immobilization, drug-contained medical device, surface engineering of biomaterials and rabbit calvarias bone defect model etc. Dr. Dong's group are very welcome cooperation and student join.
